I didnt trivialize it at all, just posting that that was your way of handling the problem. Other people handle things in other ways and post from their life experiences, that was all.
As I posted, this too shall pass. Never make a choice like this lightly, look long term.
We had a driver who's wife came up to UPS many nights to check up on him. Totally embarassed him and frankly was quite an embarrassment to the other drivers and managment.
If there is something going on, there are many ways to find out without making a scene at the work place. And that type of action could take an allready rocky marrage and finish it off.
Lucky for her, the driver, after her last visit to the center where she was escorted out by the police, was able to force her into counseling and they are married to this day.
As for who knows I post here, my center manager and up know that I post here. And what I say here, I say to them personally.

The world isn't sweetness and light all the time, you know that. Some guys are great husbands, some aren't. Some guys are great drivers, some aren't. You need to calm down, stop getting upset about postings on an online board. Maybe some of their wives are reading. Maybe their husbands are the ones who just want to hang out with the guys after work without being hassled, maybe they are the ones cheating, maybe one of the ones cheating with another employee. If so, I'm not telling anyone anything they don't know. I don't cover for them, but their buddies do, and the spouses know. No one is as blind as those who will not see.
I never said FOB's husband was cheating, I told her to look at her own situation and rule that out. I don't know them, he may very well be the best guy in the world. OK? CALM DOWN.
Now, as far as the "It sucks to be you" crap, I threw your own words back at you. You said it. For the record, it doesn't suck to be me either.

Things about UPS that FOB originally asked are not common knowlegde to people outside of UPS. As good as the company is, to understand the inside workings, you have to be there. And sometimes I still scratch my head at some of the things they do.
So chill out your ownself, and let it go. Oh yes, I am very likeable and easygoing also. Yes you hit a nerve when you say things about the guys/gals I work with.
