See, this is what annoys me about that argument, even though I really try and stay away from the whole liberal/neocon stereotyping in general because I think it's a waste of time, is you only seem to hear it from the right. I remember listening to Gordon Liddy, Rush Limbaugh, etc during the 8 years of the Clinton presidency, and all you heard from those guys 24/7 was vitriol about Clinton in particular and government in general (some it well deserved, btw). Heck, they made Brownshark sound like a choirboy in comparison :happy2:. The NRA at that time was in the habit of publicly referring to federal agents as "jackbooted thugs". I always understood that they just hated Clinton, and it never occurred to me to accuse them of being America haters because of it. Point taken. For myself, I always try and keep in mind that I actually know as little about the other posters here as they as they know about me (and believe me, that ain't much). We talk about a very narrow range of topics in here and I wouldn't presume to know what the entirety of their political lives revolve around. Well, I didn't actually say that :p. I think America is a great country, but I also know that I'm biased because it's my country. I'm honestly not sure how you would quantify "greatest country in the world".
