My hub is 5 minutes from a cummins facility that has generators and 10 minutes from cat generators. Just spending a dollar to save a couple penny's! I know what you meant though all buildings can't have generators.

The problem with that is when the power goes out in an area everyone else wants those generators too.

After a couple of extended blackouts, our hub had a generator installed.

Shortly thereafter, we had another blackout - but, the generator didn't work.

So, management's solution was to turn on all the lights in the package cars, including the headlights, and ordered everyone to continue working.

Fortunately, I was off that day and missed all the excitement.

Installed? That's the one we borrow from Baltimore it's always having problems. Have you seen all the lines they have going to that thing? I also don't think having our maintenance guys hook it up is the best idea either.

Lol it took over an hour and a half to bring it from b'more...then another half of sups and maintenance scratching their heads
