People on the streets advocating for their rights (not the looters and smashers, those people were opportunist *****) is a very different scenario than out-of-state armed guys taking over a Federal building.

Fully justified. They run away from the cops, and then the criminal reaches down to his waist twice, presumably to get to a weapon (he was armed). That's how you get shot by the cops.
