They were pretty thrifty. I gave them 5k towards it. That's all I could really afford.

They have been saving for awhile. It's not like either of parents are "rich".

I added my daughter to my credit card and she spread the purchases out over a 12 month period. I paid off each month in full. My share was completely paid when I walked her down the aisle.

I wrote a check and said this is what Daddy can afford. I paid a lot of my kids student loans while they were in school.
