Package delivery driver starting pay ?

Just go to the doctor and get a new one. UPS won't pay for it though. Doctors don't care if you drive or not they will give anyone a DOT physical.

My very first Christmas Eve (1989) I punched out at 1:00am Christmas morning and was not the last one to punch out. The past 2 peaks I have been punching out the same time that I punch out the rest of the year as I have an awesome helper.

I spent the last Christmas season as a helper for almost the whole time, even though I was a casual. Then they transfered me to a different center, and finally I got to go out on my own. I guess I'm lucky they transfered me, or else I wouldn't have been asked to come on full time as a driver...

I had an inside/inside bid that required DOT and etc. Can I keep the DOT card (expires in aug 08)? My new bid doesn't require it.

It may be worth your while to maintain your DOT card but you may have to do it out of pocket.

I want to renew it...I hope to go full-time driving next bid in '10. Want to keep a valid DOT card so I don't have to do it March '10

Why bother or spend your own money to do it? You may want to talk to your center manager and explain that it may benefit them if you renew it on the company expense.

When I went for my physical they only would give me a DOT card that's valid for one year...Damn high blood pressure...
