Your manager could say it was "verbal intimidation". That would fall under work place violence and you would be terminated. Depends on how hard your manager wants to push it.

Last night i lost my temper and swore at my part time supervisors and called them friend'ing idiots. About ten minutes later i tried to speak with them again about the issue i was angry about, but then our full time boss (higher up than our fulltime supervisors) came up to me and said "is this the employee acting like a nut, cursing, etc." she then took my ID card and told me id be escorted out of the building. I begged her to give me another chance and that i am attending college on UPSes money so this would be horrible for me getting fired and all (if thats what was going to occur if i was escorted out) so she gave me my ID back and said if it happens again im done. Well, being it the weekend now i keep stressing and having anxiety about whether or not there are going to be further actions taken against me. I was told by both my part time supes, and her personally, that im getting another chance and if it happens again im gonna get fired. I also got a text from my part time saying im good for now after i asked him if i should worry. However, now hes not answering any of my texts about the matter which leads me to believe later in their meetings they talked about going through with discipline against me. Clearly im speculating and a bit paranoid but i have alot on the line. Should i be worried ? If all three of them told me i have one more chance and they gave me my ID back, then on monday when i come back is it likely that more will develop cause of this incident or did i luck out?

this is why the rich like student debt because it makes for more obedient employees. if ur sup is an idiot, then he shouldnt be doing his job. but under capitalism this kind of thing happens all the time when something or someone is inefficient but it carries on anyways.

You should of dropped it, stop talking to them. And IF they do come back at you, do not sign anything they ask you to. If they say, "you can either sign this and resign or be fired." DONT SIGN IT. Because that would be their only weak attempt at getting you to quit. They wouldnt want to bring something this mild to panel but if they could trick you into quitting over being fired that is quick and easy.

Sounds like a real winner.
There's more to the story than what meets the eye. How would you feel if you loaded 1300 peices EVERYDAY while the person across from you who is a Sups "pet" only loads 800 maybe 900 peices on a "heavy day" meanwhile the sup brings you a discipline letter for (1) misload while the "pet" across the belt never has to sign anything? I say he had good reason.

Then maybe you should attend a college you can afford and not have this problem, along with many others?

I think it worked out better the way they did it.

He learned his lesson, don't let it happen again, keep working...

I do somewhat agree, except for the fact that they now have him/her intimidated. I'm not really a fan of that tactic. It's a little disrespectful in my eyes. I work better for people who respect me a little better than that. We could have a small talk and work things out peacefully, or we can pull a scare tactic like what seems to have happened. My center manager is a scare tactic sort of fellow, and not a single soul in our center respects him, never mind likes him. But yet our DM, you can walk right up to, work out a problem, hand shake and it's over. He's a very reasonable guy to work with and knows how to get things done.

heard one coworker yell at a pt sup that he wished they were the same age so he can kick his ass, they both just laughed about it.

I guess getting older helps a person mellow out.
I see no reason to curse, and if the other party starts cursing, I will inform them the discussion is over until they are ready to communicate in a mature manner.
Yes, I get annoyed and irritated at times, but why say something you have to apologize for later?
A person can get their point across without cursing.

well thats the problem in america, canada, and a few other developed countries now. there are no affordable colleges, unless your rich. the debt is just a means of social control, and the OP is a prime example.

They are called community and state colleges. Live at home and work for the full four years and you could graduate with little to no student loan debt.
