Maybe the Republicans can groom Michael Steele.......black, more mature and more experience than Obama.

One big difference between michael steele and OBAMA, OBAMA hasnt lost his seat in any office, unlike Michael Steele.

Steele, a conservative washup would be perfect for 2012.

He should team up with PALIN, Im for that!!!

It would be like the current raiders playing the NY GIANTS in the superbowl!

GO TEAM!

A strong woman with an experienced man vs a socialist and an old fool, what a match.

A chance to make history again, a woman in the oval office. Oh how happy that would make me.

How about a little history lesson babaganoush....can you tell me when the last time a VP candidate that lost an election, came back to win the presidency?

Oh thats right, NEVER and there's a reason for it.

You just have to learn why.

TOS could you just once try to spell my handle correctly, I know you have this food fetish, but it would be the polite thing to do.

Why do you think history can not be made in back to back elections ?

Its really easy to figure out. If the democrats really thought Palin was screwed up then would not spend so much time trying to find ways to tear her down. The dems are scared to death of Palin.

If you keep repeating this to yourself, you will really believe it. Self hypnosis :hypnosis:. This practise is used to beat lie detector test.
Good luck with your mission Agent Tieguy, this message will self destruct in 30 sec's.....:no_flames:

Not really. At this point it is what it is. If palin decides to run in four years her viability improves and her closet will be empty. At the point the poor democrats may actually have to challenge her on the issues rather then on her daughters promiscuity. :happy-very:

It really is amazing how much venomous character assasination is going on here by the dems. It really shows their true colors.

It wouldnt surprise me if she takes over for Don Young or Ted Stevens in the next election

You know, I found it real interesting your governor (you are in Alaska, aren't you?) said unequivocally just the other day she wasn't interested in pursuing a 2012 Presidential big OR running for U.S. Senate. Then, I see an article today where she's quoted as saying, "if its God's will."

Its going to be a looooong 4 years, folks. By the way....I see shades of FDR from his failed 1920 VP run. Look where he is today in the annals of history. Keep an open mind on Sarah Palin. -Rocky

I don't know about that. She seemed pretty well-liked by the ultra-liberals and the women voters (no offense, ladies).

I really wonder what she'll do now that she lost the presidency BUT has a big marker to call in from Obama. I was interested and amused to see good ol' Bill stumping for Obama but STILL campaigning for his wife at the same time. This was probably the Friday or Saturday before the election when he was at a rally. I just shook my head.

Unfortunately, I don't think we've seen the last of Hillary, Tie. -Rocky

You can bet a deal was struck between OBAMA and Hillary prior to Hillary dropping out.

My take is this.

Hillary will be appointed to the supreme court in exchange for dropping out and campaigning for OBAMA.

Conservatives wont like it, but heck, they wont be able to do anything about it.

You heard it here first!:wink2:

I'm going back more to the days of clinton. Hillary was heavily disliked and yet managed to overcome those feelings to almost win the democratic nomination. In fact I thought hillary won the popular vote amongst dems?
