I've heard of the APWA and I'm not sure what to think. I think the idea behind it is great but will it help those who are close to retirement?
I've got 28 years in and some opinions have been expressed that the APWA can't help those with 25+ years.
If the company had just a shred of sense they (the company) would offer those with 25+ years a sweetheart deal to get out when the contract ends in 08'. Then the company could hire truckloads of our compadres from south of the border (Rio Grande River) at half the wages and one week vacation, you know the rest of the story.........
What I haven't heard hardly anything about is why some of the other funds are doing so well but yet CS, which I think is the largest fund, fell on it's face.
But I'm just a truck driver, what could I know.......
