The President announced his adminstration will seek renewal of the Patriot Act which he supported so that's no biggee. Like the war, I guess all those opposers of Bush who decried the Patriot Act can now do the pancake flip in order to promote the new "democrat" way.
However, relating to the Patriot Act and something many who opposed feared would happen as Washington and all things gov't are known to abuse when granted extraordinary powers, it's coming to light that the Patriot Act is now being used far beyond what it was intended for. Hats off to Russ Feingold for exposing this too.
At about the 2 minute mark, the revelations get interesting.
