Pay actual or not Friday?

In my center we can request a pay actual on Friday it does mean it will happen.

Last year only 2 drivers in my center worked under 8. In both cases the drivers work 7 plus hours with no meal.

Will any of you guys and gals request a pay actual.

Nope. If I going to work I want my 8 hours. At time and a half I'll take 9 or 10

Yes, if you start as Code 05 and go over 8, it will be changed to 06 and a meal will be deducted.

I will tell you that every non-operational day our center manager stands in front of us and says that if we start as Code 05 but go over 8 that he will change the 05 to 06.

Not here. Almost everyone skips part of their lunch and works over 8.

It's in the contract but they ignore it.

That varies by region. There are locals where you will be deducted an hour for lunch whether you took it or not.

If it is, that creates all sorts of problems.

Namely.... working off the clock.

They also locked out the DIADs for an hour to force people to take lunches.
