I have mentioned several times that I was military and our fiscal year was 1 Oct to 30 Sep. As dc said, it was spend your money or lose it, and, boy, did we spend it. Actually, we spent your (and now my) money. It was like Christmas in September.

I had to take a P500 floorload of oversize off the Ft Richardson car last week before we left the building. He couldn't move on his car with all the FY ending "acquisitions".
