Hey Hoax, last time I checked, the US SUPREME court ruled in favor of those left wingers and democrats who burn the us flag. Its called freedom of speech.
You ought to try and accept the US Consitution in its entirety, maybe then youd understand.

As a veteran I found his comment to be in poor taste and take offense to anyone who chooses to burn the symbol of our country.

Yea, that has been declared constitutional under the "Free Speech " clause, which makes it a form of speech. What about the "hate speech " laws? Constitutional or not? What is the difference ?
Most (if not all) hate speech laws have been ruled unconstitutional under the same clause.
