Philadelphia transit strike?

You have to learn what is at play here. Its not as simple as "president obama is a democrat"...

The rails are protected under the national railway act, and proceedures for a strike are mandatory regardless of who is president.

Unlike UPS, which is covered under the NLRA, we can strike without government interference, whereas the RAILS cannot.

All the political rhetoric spill on this topic is useless junk.

You all seem to want to blabber on about the president "sticking his nose" into this strike. But none of you experts have the first clue what you are talking about.

The National Railway Act

How hard is it to look something up, and then garnering a better understanding of a subject?

Political Rhetoric from republican leaning mouthpieces doesnt substitute for facts.

The president has NO CHOICE but to act under the railway act. Its the law.

You hate this president and you, just like fox news, try to find every single little opportunity to try to lay blame on the president even when there is no blame to lay on him.

I get it, you hate president Obama, but try to separate your hatred from facts.

Some of you are calling him a dictator, something that is .

The only thing we can really agree on, is that Bush was a complete maroon.

Talk about useless arguments. How you connect the president to running a railroad is beyond imagination.

This railyard has been without a contract for three years. Something that president Obama has nothing to do with.

The two sides cant reach an agreement.

The labor side decided to take it to the next level and the president has no choice but to act under the national railway act.

You, attempt to distort the facts with political rhetoric and connect some distorted political view into a simple negotiation.

Its all a part of the negotiation game gumby.

As for your opinion on the president running the country, well, we are a LONG ways from the BUSH fiasco and the country is on the right track.

You may not like it, and may want to see it worse, but it aint happening.

This railway strike will find an end soon. An 11% increase in wages is pretty good considering the economy.

There are many other issues at stake for the rail workers, but at the end of the day, the national railway act will insure a solution.

Dont be a goof.
