Compliance is easier for everybody. When you start claiming that you "KNOW YOUR RIGHTS" while at the same time ignoring a legal order from a cop is pretty damn stupid.

Rejecting the authority of the police over her probably seemed like a good idea until she found herself in jail.

I just watched the video and listened to everything that was said on the radio prior to the Taser being used.
The motorist had apparently been out of his car in the middle of the road trying to stop traffic. This might lead one to believe he was intoxicated or having mental health issues.
He immediately became hostile to the officer, and rapidly approached him in a threatening manner with aggressive body language while shouting obscenities.
Time to ride the lightning, tough guy. The cop didn't shoot him with a gun or beat the crap out of him with a nightstick. Pepper spray? Its overrated and often ineffective and if the wind is blowing the wrong way it can get in the officer's eyes too. The Taser was the appropriate level of force to use and the fact that the cop didn't have time to say anything is the angry motorist's fault, not the cop's.

Which is an argument for your attorney to make in court, not for you to make during a traffic stop.
What is so difficult with complying with an officers "request"? As long as it's not illegal, do what they ask. If they mistreat you, file a complaint or suit afterwards, but don't expect to puff your chest out to a cop during a traffic stop and expect nothing bad to happen to you. Idiots

Same could be said for any cop. When a cop shows no respect for the law and your rights they should not expect you to be cooperative.

No, it isn't. I have no problem with exiting the vehicle, but there's no way I am handing over ID (in the case of the video).

No one should be disrespectful or "puff your chest out", but to not comply with an officers wish when they are simply fishing for information to hang you with, and have no concern with your safety or well-being - no way I'm giving a stranger and possible criminal, or etc., my identification.
