Awesome. So glad your ilk are agreeing with more and more of us....abolish big gov and start with the corrupt IRS.

ALL THE BS mentioned in this link only proves the point that big gov doesn't work! This link (if its believable) shows how some folks know how to use the rules and laws that are in place to their advantage.

So again....the evil ones here are not the Karl Roves' but as usual, the law makers, ie congress.

Seems Term Limits, Flat Tax would assist in ending this.

Applications for tax exemption from advocacy nonprofits had not yet spiked when the Internal Revenue Service began using what it admits was inappropriate scrutiny of conservative groups in 2010.
In fact, applications were declining, data show.
Top IRS officials have been saying that a “significant increase” in applications from advocacy groups seeking tax-exempt status spurred its Cincinnati office in 2010 to filter those requests by using such politically loaded phrases as “Tea Party,” “patriots,” and “9/12.”
Both Steven Miller, the agency’s acting commissioner until he stepped down Wednesday, and Lois Lerner, director of the agency’s exempt-organization division, have said over the past week that IRS officials started the scrutiny after observing a surge in applications for status as 501(c)(4) “social welfare” groups. Both officials cited an increase from about 1,500 applications in 2010 and to nearly 3,500 in 2012. President Obama ask Mr. Miller to resign on Wednesday.
The scrutiny began, however, in March 2010, before an uptick could have been observed, according to data contained in the audit released Tuesday from the Treasury Department’s inspector general for tax administration.

Fire the whole damn agency. Need there be any further evidence that our tax system as well as an over inflated two party system is broken? Lawyers making loophole laws that protect lawyers while the middle class keep the economy afloat by barely getting by.

I've advocated this approach for nearly 40 years and it is a permanent solution to the current scandal.

I'm with you on this one man. It's insane how we all can allow bureaucrats to continue to control our lives and our economy year after year. Decade after decade. God I pray this is the beginning of the end for the IRS and the broken tax codes in this country. But I doubt it.

I doubt it either but these events do further shatter the illusions of a few more people. Thus a cumulative effect over time.

In the late 70's discussing the Federal Reserve or the regressive if not out right theft of our tax system was almost anathema and yet now these issues are more openly discussed by parties on all sides of the political, economic, social discussion.

The left as well as anyone are delusional if they think all of these "scandals" are just going to go away. They've only just begun as more light is shed. Some of us 'alarmists' are feeling rather vindicated finally. And as for the slobbering love affair the leftist media has had with this administration from it's birth and the yet another AP scandal.... talk about biting the hand that feeds you?

The voice of the dying political party talking points. Its hilarious to watch you repeat the days talking points over and over.

The country is leaving you behind bro. You and the other "OLD WHITE MEN" can gather and recall the good ole' days, but those days are LONG gone.

We are moving forward with or without you.

You can cling to rhetoric that doesnt support your beliefs, and a political party that is always trying to take money and benefits out of your pocket and put them into the pockets of the rich. Guys like you deserve that.

Peace

TOS,

Confusion is a state of Bliss --that is often said about ignorance.

The Republican Party is known for supporting LOWER TAXES --you keep more money in your pockets.

The Democrats are always crying for HIGHER taxes --that come out of --ALL of our pockets.

Unless you live in a state that is run by Republicans. They seem to raise taxes at the state level consistently.

Not to mention getting the lions share of federal money coming to the states per.capita. And remember those republics governors publicly refusing stimulus money while quietly shoveling it in the back door?
