possible future employment questions

    How’s it going?

    This is my first post here on Brown Café so please bear with me. I’m a long time forum user, so I know how annoying repeat questions from newbies can be.

    I’ll get straight to the point so as to not waste your time. I’m currently serving on active duty in the Air Force. I’ve been in for 4 years. My career field is logistics and transportation. I found a posting on the UPS Jobs websites of a position that is basically the civilian version of my job –Aircraft Load Planner. It was listed as “Administrative Grade 7”.I have the ability to transfer to the reserves. That being said, I do not want to take a significant pay cut. Research tells me that benefits will be about the same. How do I know if this is a full or part time position? If I apply, and am offered an interview/job, will they hold the position for me during my separation to the reserves?
