preloader/helper ?

Today i was told by a fellow preloader that if i would ride with a driver straight after preload that i should not get paid the 8.50 helper,and i should get paid my normal pay, but if i was to take and hr break like go home then help i should get paid the helper pay is there any truth into that.

I believe that is how it works.

you get yr preload pay when u preload, and helper pay when u are a helper
