Re: Obamanation here today I forgot to defend France. They are a member of the EU (if Islandfox even know what that means). No way do they pay over 50% taxes either. All members in the EU are subject to financing and taxation of The European Bank Central. -Even the intresst rates are regulated. But, I'm not getting into that. Again, just look how many french citizens live in the states ? They don't come in strives either. I did a bit of research. 16% of our GDP comes from taxes. I left it at that. We do get taxed on "killer items" like alcohol and cigarettes , 12 pack of good brand beer is atleast $25.00. Cigarettes about $10.00 a pack of 20. Even gasoline is higher taxed here. About 20% more then in the states. Even though Canada is the biggest supplier of oil to the USA, by a landslide. (many of you don't know that, thinking it's saudi arabia or Kuwait, no, it's your friends upnorth with the largest supply). A new 3000 mile oil pipeline from Edmonton to Chicago is underway. Thats a very true statement. Obama is trying to fix that.. so other countries don't see americans as being ignorant. But, I see, it takes more then a president to fix that. It takes every individual american to read up, and study about other countries, before they claim how "bad" others live compared to them. As for the war in Iraq.. Canada didn't join in... wasn't enough evidence for us, to prove weapons of massive destruction. However, we did you a favour, and replaced the US in Afghanistan (back then), to free up more Soldiers for you to fight in Iraq. And many Canadians aren't happy about our war in Afghanistan ! Body bags comming back, and the expendture. But, we are difinity happy to see you back in Afghanistan and helping us out. In closing: It'll only be a matter of another decade, until some of you realize.. holy crap. look at Canada, how good they are doing, and how high thier dollar is. And why are they buying properties all of a sudden everywhere in America.. - That has already started, and will just continue to grow. Since vacation properties are higher here, then in the states.
