I just reviewed my paycheck and noticed that on the bottom where it shows your vacation and sick days, it now has section that reads PST 17.50, just wondering what that stands for? Never seen it before...

I thought so too but when I would call in in the past it would get deducted from the "other" on my pay stub...

Why not have abbreviations explained on the back of the stub?

PST stands for Pacific Standard Time.

Are you in one of the states that just passed a mandatory sick time law? Maybe in those states available sick time must be shown as pst or paid sick time?

Yes. City of Seattle has sick leave rules. PST=Personal Sick Time. Separate then the UPS sick time. My sick hours are listed under OTH
