Question on changing shifts.

I work in small sort at my hub. I put my name on the list to change from night to twilight and I noticed I was the only one on the list requesting small sort twilight. How does this process usually work? How will I be notified when the change goes through?

In our center all bid lists stay up for 5 working days.

I should have added that if they didn't want someone in particular to bid a route they would wait until he was on vacation to post it. That is when you find out who your friends are.
