My across the street neighbor has the same cancer that took Geraldine Ferraro.

They cannot cure my neighbor but the cancer can be managed. She has previously mentioned she was inspired by Geraldine Ferraro because she had a very good quality of life while living with the same disease. They they are polar opposites politically so it's complicated for her.

This news will be difficult for them.
