I always liked him. He was in some good movies.

The Birds was one of my favorites.....it introduced Tippi Hedren (Melanie Griffith's mom)

He was probably in a couple of movies per year in the 1960's plus a lot in 1950's. He slowed down and mostly disappeared in the 1970's and later.

My nerdy sci-fi geeky self will mis him. He was in so many of my favorite movies with War of the Worlds being foremost.
