Recent Retirees - Tell current Drivers about your Retirement and Plans (on Topic)

I thought this would be a good topic for those poor slobs still working to dream about.

...as a fellow retired female driver ...

Congrats on your recent retirement.
I've been retired for almost three years now officially.
6 years according to my bosses ... but that's another story.

I'm sure others on BC would like to hear about your retirement activities and plans.

What about the non drivers who are close to retirement? Why discriminate against them?

Retirement would mean I'm 55, why would I want to hurry and lose 15 years of my life. Granted I talk to other drivers about retirement but it's just to keep my head in the game of putting the max into my Roth. Looking around at all the late 50 guys at our hub with zero retirement and hoping the pension will be enough is good enough to know I'll be ok. If I hated working here, sure, I'd wish I could retire ASAP, but if I felt that way all the time I'd find another job.
