A friend of mine became addicted to suboxone.his dr told him it would get him off painpills.and was harmless,he became addicted.he ended up quitting cold turkey.and said the withdrawls were horrible and lasted over a week.he couldnt even get off his couch .way worse than anything pain pills ever put him thru.good luck to you! You can do it!!

Stoked to see such a helpful thread! This shows how awesome it is when we all work together.

The program is really good and you will be assigned a case manager that will guide you through the process.

As Leadbelly said, talk to your local about contractual issues regarding the eligibility.

Pharmaceutical companies make big bucks for the GOP
Don't be silly. Everybody is getting money, it's not as simple as the dems or republicans. People are getting hooked on Benzos and opiates. It's not a coincidence that there has been a massive massive increase in heroin since we started playing in Afghanistan where there are huge amounts of poppy fields. The gov, the cia, the insurance companies, doctors, the local police departments, and the pharmaceutical companies are all making a killing on getting people hooked.

Radiolab has a podcast that I just listened to last week on addiction. It was both illuminating and depressing at the same time. Give it a listen if you get a chance.
