Retirement ISSUES with 13th check

Hi- When I met with 2 UPS employees of the UNION upon retirement, I was told by them, that after or upon my 15th year of retirement, I would be getting a 13th check, or extra check. Well, I have now been retired 15 yrs plus 2 weeks. Called WCT called UPS center in Santa Cruz, no one knows anything about this. My question to this forum is, does anyone know or has anyone been told this also?????

What would be the reason you would get an extra check in year 15.... Btw, nice old school Levi jacket in your avitar... Keep it, the kids are paying big bucks for that old time Levis clothing!!

Years ago if the pension fund investments did really well, the fund would cut a 13th check to the older retirees since their pension would be a lot less then more recent retirees. I think my dad collects about $900/month from Central States.
