Retro checks and union dues

Can anyone tell me if Union dues were taken out of your retro checks, or were did Union make you catch up on dues at all.

Our local made the decision to forego taking dues out of our retro checks nor did they have us catch up on our dues.

I don't recall any extra dues being taken out for the retro pay, either.

I don't think so either....but between the time we got our retro checks and Aug first....my dues went up 6 bucks a month.

wow, that seems high for $1.40 in raises, maybe they are taken it out a little each month.

`Thanks guys here at 705 we just got a tentative agree, one of the highlights was that they were not going to take union dues out of retro check but they did not say if they were forgetting about the owed dues or if they would get them later.

Don't spend your retro checks, they will want half back. I'd rather have it taken out of retro check, if they were going to take them out.

What owed dues are you talking about? If they have already said that they will not be taking dues out of the retro checks, which IMO is the right thing to do, and you have been paying dues all along, what other dues would you owe?

You will see a dues increase the first full month after the ratification of the agreement.
