I picked up a XD9 for my wife and a XD9 subcompact for me

Funny. I was deciding between the Ruger and the XD 3.8". The XD was $160 more so I'd just as soon buy the Ruger + 500 rounds for that price. Should be able to buy myself a nice holster and a decent pile of ammo with that retro check.

NFL schedule comes out tonight. My retro check will make a nice dent in a Packers road game trip. They play in Miami, Tampa and New Orleans this year.

I plan to throw my retro and what casino winning I have saved on the side into a medical REIT with dividends reinvesting. Hopefully in 30 years it will be worth something?

I have about 7 weeks left in my progression to top rate, anyone know for sure if I will get a retro check? I've heard that because I'm not at top rate yet I would not get the check because I'm intelligible for the raise as it wouldn't apply to me...

Yes you'll get a retro...and in 7 weeks that big raise will change your life
But don't bank on my opinion

Absolutely, but I work 2 jobs so I don't have the time to handload.

Reloading you can make better ammo but when you factor in time its not a huge savings. I buy cheap junk to plink and will reload premium ammo.
