This is one of the biggest problems that no one seems to be working on. For many customers the new software is incompatible with their systems.
Trying to get everyone on the same version software seems like the biggest headache that no one wants. (The problem lies with shippers who use a multiple shipper system. The software that is UPS/Fed-Ex/DHL hasn't, and probably won't be, updated anytime soon.)
The WorldShip system is the newest but very few are actually on board.
OS1, OS2, and OS3 were removed from the system 2 years ago. The new system is based totally on Dim. Weight. They have also added a new charge/surcharge which replaced OS3. They now charge both a "Large Package" charge and surcharge.
Technically OS should be out of the system but it doesn't look like it's going to be straightened out any time soon.
Basically the packages with OS labels need to be audited because they haven't been billed correctly.
