It is hard to let go of one that has been so close for so many years. I am sooo sorry for your loss Fet. I understand how empty you must feel and how hard it will be to fill the spot left by letting Tweetie go. She is well taken care of even now. All pets go to heaven.
I rescued a feral kitten. It took about a week before he bonded with me and I was the only one that could do anything with him. Unfortunately he had feline hep. I kept him happy and fed and loved until he got to sick to be comfortable any more. Just thinking of him still brings tears to my eyes. Named him Lil Bit.
