Apparently every region had their own section where service and safe driving anniversaries and other accomplishments were acknowledged. It was always interesting to see who made the news. I also liked the annual "Records of UPS" edition. ie" most CODs in a day- most stops- etc. Kind of like Ripleys Believe it or Not.
Hubby was the editor in Utah and I enjoyed reading the birth announcements and marriage announcements because I knew most of the people in UT./ID.

The UPSnews.
You could submit news, announcements, recipes and generally anything you waned to announce to other UPSers. Remember Greg Neiman was the head of it? He's a published author now, so his name is already outthere.
I miss the Big Idea. I was so proud whenever I would be mentioned for some milestone. One time I got my picture in it when a customer paid me a compliment. Made you feel appreciated.

Most of that old crap was in my locker and got thrown out when I cleaned it out.

I probably still have a chain around somewhere though.
