Because of the favorable fees that we enjoy with 401k plan and a desire to have my retirement accounts centralized, I looked into rolling over my traditional IRA into 401k plan. In the FAQ's about the 401k plan it states the plan accepts IRA rollovers at any time. I found out this is not necessarily true. They will only take what is called conduit IRA's, which are retirement accounts that have been rolled over from a previous employer's 401k. I am passing this information on for anybody else who had thoughts about doing this in the future.
