I don't know if Palin is strong enough to get elected but I think she is capturing some of what Obama captured. People want energy and change and now that Obama has proven to be status quo she may be the one that energizes voters.
Whatever happens its clear that a lot people are not holding grudges for her hideous VP campaign.

I don't disagree with what you are saying but I do think men have a say in this but it may not be in the way we might think. Because had we thought to begin with, think as men should, maybe that woman would not have been put into a position to begin with to have to choose between abortion or not.

As a man, I say we are very much at the root of the problem and if we acted like men in the first place, abortion on it's own would be a non issue if at all. IMO we can't drop in, satisfy ourselves and then stand from afar with a "not my problem" pious attitude. Fact is we (men) helped create this scenario and the only thing we debate is whether or not we have a right to tell a woman what to do with a problem we help create? How many women gave in just to shut us up and get rid of the mental torture we put them through to give it up? When will we step up and claim our own fault in causing abortions to even take place to begin with?

If men want to stop all abortions, then look in a mirror for the first step in the solution!

BTW D: I'm not preaching at you (your point well made) but just speaking out to all us males that it's long past time we stop and looked in the mirror. It's way past time that ethics and moral actions return to men and loads of problems we face would start to disappear IMO.

Many of the points in your post I believe are very valid. I cannot agree with you and Diesel that because we are "men" we cannot discuss and shed light on a very controversional and "third rail" current issue of today.
The points in your post ---that I see very clearly --many men will have their "fun" --walk away and leave the problem with the woman.
This can lead to Abortion ---or another thing the Liberals seem to glorify --single mother families. One of the major problems in Black communities is the fact that 7 out of ten children are born to single Moms. this leads to poverty, crime and prison for many Black Men -a vicious circle.
Men are part of the problem and should be part of the solution.
Also from another view ---How about the man --that desperately wants to have his child born --will raise it without any help or contact from the Mom ---but the present law tells him it is NONE of HIS business ????

Hillary would not have gotten the minority vote that Obama got. Hillary has some serious likability issues. Hillary would not have cleaned anyones clock and could have easily lost to McCain.

Other then jerking your chain I'm not supporting Palin for anything yet. But at the same time despite your best efforts to destroy her and her family the fact remains that Palin is no dumber and no less qualified then the great one was at this point.

The thing that should scare you is that Palin is gathering a rock star type reception wherever she is going. People want change from politics as usual and Obama did not deliver that change as promised. Unless you think his focus meetings with Chinease college students while the economy is tanked is good change.

I'm really enjoying this. The liberals took their anti-palin smear campaign to new lows. They thought they had Palin squashed. But there she is traipsing across the country flashing that pretty smile to thousands of excited and energized voters.

The British, stuck between a rock and a hard place, decided to partition the country..With the success of the state of Israel, and their military dominance, they took it amongst themselves, against Geneva accords, to ilegally expand, and have not stopped since. Which compounds the problems of the Middle East.

When she isn't worried about having to play 2nd string to an already poor presidential candidate then you will see that those tough questions will come with straight answers. The McCain camp really struggled with the fact the country was more interested in Sarah Palin than John McCain. Last I heard she has more followers on facebook and twitter than the white house has. 2012 is a long way off, but the prospects of this current failure of a President getting thrown out is looking better and better. Getting Sarah in there would be the icing on the cake.

Based on your inability to understand the basic forum text formatting tags I doubt you could even begin to comprehend how a database works. 4 years is a long way off from now. The country will have pulled out of a recession by then, the gdp will have grown each quarter by 3% since this quarter, the banking industry will have fully recovered, the housing market will have stabilized, we will have pulled out of IRAQ and Afghanistan, unemployment will be down and the country will be better off than when BUSH and the republicans doomed the country from 2000 to 2008.
