Short Term Disability Reduction

Oh Yeah
aflac is a good investment to protect you and your family.if you get hurt you can stay out as long as you need to and still make the same amount of money as if you were working and not have to worry about going back to work until your 100 pcnt and you know you will still be able to pay all your bills still comfortably. i would say any one who doesnt look into it is foolish.

I got 3 aflac policies. 1.dissability 2.hospitalization 3.critical illness. It costs me 165.00 a month. we got 4 guys in the whole center who have it, thats it.im thinking to myself like you guys are a bunch of idiots not to have it. 165.00 bux a month to protect you, your family and not to lose your house. its a pretty easy decision if you ask me. we had a guy in our center who got in an accident outside of work, who actually got aflac after i spoke to him about it and gave him the info,he almost died from the accident.he was out of work for like a year and a half. i called him a couple of times to check on him and of course the ******* management didnt call him to check on him at all. he came back to work and shook my hand told me you saved my life man by getting me on the aflac,he said he would have lost everything without the aflac. so if i were you guys id definitely invest in aflac just in case its well worth the small fee to protect you and your life.

Here's a dumb question.
How did you go about purchasing your AFlac supplemental insurance? Was it directly through them or UPS?

:sick:In our area in 2006 our Short Term Disability was handled by Kemper for up to $500 a week.
In 2013 Short Term Disability handled by Aetna for maximum of $300 a week.
How Does this happen? Read all the small print.

What is your Short Term Disability $ and are you in a union or company plan?

Maybe the new benefit package will pay $100 a week.

Our full-timers receive $600 / week (disability) thanks to our BA and excellent local health care insurance provider who also happens to be a major hospital in our area.

I do know that AFLAC doesn't offer individual disability policies in every state, there are some (like mine) where they only offer it as a group policy to employers. I purchased my own policy through Northwestern Mutual.

I got my aflac through an agent. And we did get a discount for it through the union somehow. I dont exactly remember all the details but ive had it for at least 2 years now. It may seem like alot of money a month(170) but what you get for it is god. I have accidental, critical illness and dissability. If i get hurt doing anything whether its work or play im still making the same amount of money as if i were working. I got double health insurance also. I think anybody would be stupid not to get it with the direction this job is going with the way their slaving us. Small price to pay to protect you and your family, just saying.

I have been out 9 months on comp.. Week three Liberty Mutual called me and asked if I was planning a vacation ! After that phone call I retained an Attorney. the persons who file fraudulent claims are the reason LM treats us the way they do. Who really wants to be out on comp, and loose 401K contributions, and pay ? LM & the UPS doc in the box dragged their ass' and it was three months before I was approved to see a specialist. The first words out of the surgeons mouth were why did this take so long ? The case worker had no answer...Had they sent me to a specialist sooner I most likely would not have had to have cartilage removed because it was dead ! So now, four months after surgery , I am still not well and may never be. Unfortunately the state I am in has a set amount for the settlement, and I will not be able to sue LM for failing to authorize the much need medical care. Basically LM sucks !

Liberty Insurance is in bed with ups i coulda told you that. Look around the internet and google lawyers who have won lawsuits against UPS thats the only chance you have. There are a few out there who have defeated the brown monster. Good luck maybe look into some aflac now.
