I get 5 sick days a year...until they allow us to roll them over, I will take every last one.
But arent they paid out may 1st?

We've been able to roll over 5 sick days for the past 20-25 years. Came in handy when my kids were born.I get 5 sick days a year...until they allow us to roll them over, I will take every last one.
Oh I did. And the worst part is I had my Rep pull attendance records. We have 3 supervisor groups, and in the first group he checked, there were 5 drivers with more call-ins with no discipline. Nothing more came of it.I would have protested the write up. But then again I protest every write up. If it is legitimate or not.
Hey....1800 sick day......bite me!...hang up....bub byeThere's clearly a problem with the workplace when it comes to sick time. I'm referring to all jobs generally. A recent poll showed that the majority of Americans don't take their available sick time each year. It's attributed to that feeling of backlash or guilt. Even though it is legitimate personal time owed to the worker.
A company should not guilt you for calling out when you have available sick time.
Yes, and they take out more taxes....hence, why I said "until they let us roll them over" (into the next year). If I'm going to use them or lose them....I'm using them. If you think that makes me lazy...ask me if I care! Wait..nope! lolBut arent they paid out may 1st?
We leave a message on a UPS voicemail when we call it sick....it doesn't give me a guilt trip...lol.Hey....1800 sick day......bite me!...hang up....bub bye
