The op was at a stop. Taking packages out of the back of their truck. Set one on the dash and it broke the Diad holder off.

I'll blame it on it being early.

Yeah. I never really understood the holster. I have two pockets that it fits in just fine.

I can't get the seatbelt on efficiently with the DIAD in the holster, so I use the holder all the time. I've forgotten my holster before and it makes for a long day trying to jam the board in my pocket all day.

The holsters are to big and bulky. It makes it look like drivers are wearing a saddle bag. I use the clip.

Unless you have some new diad we all don't know about, I'm pretty sure the diad v fits in that slot on the left just fine.

I'm not saying it doesn't. I'm saying the only time I put mine in it is maybe during lunch. It lives in my holster.

I used the clip for the 4, but put the diad in the slot everytime I got in the truck. Since the 5 is so light and small I use the pouch and don't use the slot much at all.

I don't give a damn about the message light but I can pull the diad in and out of the holster while the seat belt is on no problemo...just need to wear the holster in front of your side beltloop instead of behind it.
