A partial anyway! When they predict an eclipse I usually pack a rain jacket.
But today it was semi clear and the combination of tinted glass, a deep tinted visor, and sunglasses made it possible to sneak very quick peeks at this amazing phenomenon.
    Cool to see!
I never can remember how they say to do it right so i just did it the redneck way.
Anyways, it was awesome and thank you UPS for the right kind of visors!

Must be a whole different angle. Here it was a left side bite that moved to the top.

That wasn't an eclipse that made it darker. It was the overwhelming amount of work looming over you.

That's a picture flying around the internet from NASA actually.

I was sound asleep and missed it.

I had it in my brain to take notice about 1:30 our time, but I was busy doing something else....folding clothes, I think.

I get to see plenty of lunar eclipses. Less hard on the eyes and just as spectacular.

    oldngray nowhere special

The full lunar eclipse a couple of weeks ago looked good.

The moon looked like a round glowing briquette last good one I saw.

We clouded over that night. I would love to get a clear night when a lunar eclipse is happening.
But like I said; expect rain. :)
