Friday they called me a whole bunch of times I answered once and calmly told them about my superstition about birthdays being unlucky and that I wasn't coming in. they told me that I would be in big trouble. it only reinforced my superstition. monday they fussed at me, had a 5 day ready to go, but i had already filled out a harrassment grievance in advance and had documentation of my vacation schedule, which i always get after them trying to reneg on a vacation involving a family trip to ireland years before. in lieu of suspending me, my manager flew off the handle accusing me of shouting and cursing. so i wrote out a harrassment grievance on that.</p><p></p><p>i don't really get what's so bad about someone working their vacation if they do it of their own volition. I'm fine with the language either way, i just don't see what the big deal is.</p></blockquote><p></p>
