SPD for New Healthcare Plan

The company issued the new Summary Plan Description for the new healthcare plan, then told us in the meeting that it wasn't acurate and many things didn't apply, yet they want us to make our decision based on what is in the book. The "SPD" is a legal document. What's the deal? Should we or shouldn't we?

Didn't you read all the fine print that the SPD was was propaganda and that you should refer to the full plan documents for the truth? :wink2:

In any court case involving healthcare issues the SPD is the fine print. There is no other document accepted by the courts. Also no "full plan document" was produced by the company or Aetna.
