A 48-year-old newsroom executive at The Baltimore Sun was killed Monday morning in a road accident near Hereford while driving his 9-year-old daughter to school.
The accident occurred when Wheatley's 1999 Honda Civic, which was in the act of making a left turn from Corbett Road onto southbound York Road, was hit broadside by a United Parcel Service truck traveling north, according to Elise Armacost, a Baltimore County Fire Department spokeswoman.
