Sun business editor killed in Baltimore County crash - Baltimore Sun

A 48-year-old newsroom executive at The Baltimore Sun was killed Monday morning in a road accident near Hereford while driving his 9-year-old daughter to school.

The accident occurred when Wheatley's 1999 Honda Civic, which was in the act of making a left turn from Corbett Road onto southbound York Road, was hit broadside by a United Parcel Service truck traveling north, according to Elise Armacost, a Baltimore County Fire Department spokeswoman.

What can you say other than this is such a tragedy. Two people get into the car just like they do everyday thinking its gonna be just another routine trip to the school and then to work and in an instant a life is lost-gone forever- and another one hangs in the balance. Also all of the friends, co-workers and family's lives are changed forever. So sad and happens way too much. :sad-very:
