Its very simple....the more Pickups and the more Pu volume you lose each year the more stops you will get.
Get used to it.

yeah...I was force fed that line of * 15 some odd years ago and was almost willing to buy it....but just as I suspected,I have more p/u's and deliver 30-50 more pieces a day on my current route. Then theyre line became the "economy". Lets see just how bad the economy is on Tuesday the 26th when they announce their quarterly earnings. I suspect that right now as Im typing this,some troll in Atlanta is coming up with something new for us to chew on as to why this is happening. I hate being so negative!

19yrs, collectively, on the same route.
I have increased SPORH, by area knowledge, not dispatch.
20+ is my new-(for the last three years)- norm.
I must thank UPS for paying me -( on the average)- $100 to $150 extra everyday.
I think it is great that UPS can save money, by paying me more.

for this,
