Taking a week off w/o Pay

Not around here Sword. If they approve the time off they cannot take it from you for any reason.

My fault I should have said in the west cuz thats in our area specific part of the contract. I need to communicate better thanks for the reminder.

They are giving my wife and I a week off w/o pay this coming week. Routes are being dissolved and in order to not lay off the utility drivers they are offering this option.

What would have happened had you said no to their offer? Have they asked you to call in each morning or are you off for the whole week? Could you have use one of your vacation weeks rather than go unpaid?
