teamcare is worse than obamacare

Her doctor may eat the costs or may pass them along to her.

I went to PCP a month or so ago. I have yet to be billed for the co-pay.

Resident know-it-all.

Is that not the same as what I said?

Anyway, under my old plan I did not have to rely on my doctor "eating the cost". It was a simple co-pay. Spelled out clearly on all bills sent to me. Paid a co-pay and then received the itemized cost from BCBS. It never had anything on it other then the co-pay that I paid at time of service. It did not have any extra charge with a "may owe" line that was anything other then the co-pay.

I will keep you informed on whether my doctor decides to eat the cost or if I end up paying roughly 60% more then anticipated.

Once you go Brown...
"Obamacare" is a set of regulations, Teamcare is an insurance plan. How can they be compared?

Yea I agree, the comparison is just ignorant... It's called "Health Care Reform" and our country badly needed it, but the current set up is very flawed and will probably take decades to get to a workable state.

Call me a socialist but I'm happy to pay more taxes to provide healthcare to people who need it.. and yea, I know there are going to be people cheating the system, but what's new?

I could go on forever and probably catch a lot of flak for speaking my mind on the subject, but more people should care about the well-being of their fellow man.

And my "flower child" rant is over. I apologize if I've offended anybody.

I was very skeptical, but not found anything to really be upset about, yet. Had an er visit, paid 100%.
Had to fill 3 scripts, CVS too far away, paid 12.00 for them, I can take that.
Got on the website, ordered 3 scripts, they called the doc, they were here in 4 days.

The prescription coverage is my only initial concern. If you read through you script plan, they'll only let you fill your scripts at a retail location at the low discounted price two times I believe, then you must pay 50% or 100% of the retail cost of the scripts if you continue to fill them at retail locations (Can't remember he exact details, too new)

However, switching to the mail order pharmacy hasn't been too bad... although it's been weeks since I first contacted my doctors offices to start transferring my scripts over, and they still can't get it to where there's no lapse between my refills.. But this is the fault of my Docs offices, not Caremark.

When it all gets sorted out, It'll be nice not to have to go out, wait in line, deal with idiots just to fill my scripts. And they're free :-)

Yes I got on the 90 day mail in, and I never went to the doc. The 3 I had filled were quick and in a hurry, no choice. I am a little worried, as I dont like change, but there is no choice, so I am trying to be positive......

I believe there is(at least there was) an option on Caremark called "auto renew" and "auto refill" that automatically contacts doctor and refills meds when time comes.
