Teamsters United GP candidate threatens teamsters with violence.

Starting wage is a waste of time.
It's only been about 16 years since H raised my dues with out a direct membership vote.

That I when he lost my loyalty.
Well, ask Z why he was so in favor of it. How much do you pay a month? So you think Union business is free? You liked the $55 a week when we were on strike? That $17 a month is really killing you huh?

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
I read 16 years ago there was some wildcat strike because Fred Z didn't file the proper paperwork. What's that all about?
I was talking about H raising union dues without a direct mambership vote.

That is what is called a FACT.

You heard, that is just slinging mud.

He was in favor of it because he was an H delegate.

They do as he asks.

It's not the $17 that makes me mad.

If the general membership voted for it I would be fine with it.

And if it was only $17 a month, why doesn't H give it back?

Will it really kill them?

Can you refer me, to the IBT constitutional provision that requires it ?

I'll save you the time.... there isn't any.

Elected Delegates, at the "Blue Ribbon Commission" voted for and approved it.

You know this.

You just don't agree with it.

Name a couple successful tdu locals

This question, is almost worthy of it's own thread.

But, it would be real short.

The answer is.... zero.

Just because it is in the IBT constitution, doesn't make it right.

H has had 17 years to change that, and he hasn't.

H is just 1 of the major problems with our once great and strong union.

The rest of the OG leaders and followers are the rest of the problem.

Sorry BUG, you have got to go.

You and your selfish, lazy and corrupt bosses.

FZ has stated his reasoning for supporting the dues increase.

I have no problem with FZ over his reasoning on supporting the dues increase.

The only problem I have with FZ, is that he didn't then see that the dues increase should have been put to a direct membership vote.

$55 dollars vs $412 in strike benefits. TDU wants members striking and broke. Great philosophy.
How long can members last with $55 a week? Great War chest Carey. At least now UPS will think twice because members can last.

Did you not read my post?

Obviously not.

My issue was who got to pass it.

Dues increases should only be approved by a direct membership vote.

Is this too difficult for you to understand?

You did. When you voted for your delegate reps.
No, we voted for the delegates to get the candidates on the slates.

Any thing other than that is wrong.

IBT Constitution and dues increases should be voted on by the membership.

Why are you so against this?
