A few more details in the above link. Part timers get a big raise, more full time jobs, the big one is we go to a union run insurance plan that will benefit all Teamsters supposedly. The devil will be in the details.

I can't wait for the TDU spin. But in 97.... Well in 97.... 97.....The call I'm talking about is a private one from my 3 e board members who are all on nationals. TDU will not be on my call.

The tentative agreement covering UPS package employees moves 140,000 workers into Teamster-controlled health plans from company plans to maintain current strong benefits for all UPS Teamsters while growing the funds for Teamsters in all industries into the future.
Hopefully we don't all have to move into the central states plan,,,

More people could strengthen the plan. Might be a good thing.

It will be ratified. I'm willing to bet that most voters only base their answer on whether or not there is a raise in the contract.
