Re: Teamsters Reach Tentative Agreements Covering 250,000 Workers At UPS, UPS Freight

Does anyone have a link to current Central States coverage details?
I am going to assume full timers will get about $.65 a year in split wage increases, if anyone has heard different please post.

65 cents total a year? Or 65 cents each split raise?

If its total. That's by no means a "substantial" raise.

Lol

Considering the "industry" is two companies that simple isn't it.

I would expand the list to include all trucking and delivery type jobs from beer to soda to little Debbie's and Doritos to towels, floor mats and vending services to name a few.

I've heard a lot of gossip, now it will be interesting to see the facts. With the profit they make off our backs, anything that includes any type of payment for insurance will get a big "NO" from me!

I got a report of some of the details in the TA:

$3.90 in raises over the five year life of the contract.
$2.50 per hour more into the pension, over the five years.
Health: no co-pays for active members, but retirees will have to pay co-pays.

That's a big fat no from me then. It's essentially a pay cut.

I hope technology used for discipline language and harrassment language will be strengthened.
