[QUOTE="vantexan, post: 1109259, member: 24302"] No excuses here, just biding my time until I can leave. Yelling at the company produces few, if any, results. Tired of yelling, tired of being told how great a union will be for us if we only have the courage, etc. You and I know it's wasted energy. If people want to leave, leave. If they want to stay, stay. If newhires come in knowing what they'll be getting and they're ok with that then it's their business. If they come in believing they've got it made they'll learn otherwise. It's real easy to leave when you've got little invested, especially when you're young. When your my age you just bide your time. That's not an excuse, that's reality. There's no great job waiting for old guys with health problems. The source of our clashes in the past is you wanted to control the narrative, telling people to get out now. You couldn't abide my saying be cautious. This was your show. That it devolved into personal attacks is a shame, should not have happened. I'm not interested in fussing with you, just can't resist poking a little fun. For that I apologize. And if you are truly interested in making a sound investment, you should consider moving overseas like millions are. Quite a bit of info on the Internet. If you can reduce your living expenses by 40-70%, depending on where you live now and where you move to, and still have broadband Internet, satellite tv, movie theaters showing American movies in English, mild climate, good food, affordable quality healthcare, it's at least worth considering.
