The lawncare/landscape thread.

Why would anyone who does not do lawncare for a living need 5 lawn mowers?

So you don't lose any sleep over it:

1. 22" push mower--though I would like it because it had a bagger on it-turned out I didn't because it was too heavy and awkward on my hilly property so I keep it down by the river where it is flat--works good there.

2. Bought a 22" self propelled one because the wife said she would mow if I got her a self propelled one--that didn't pan out (I should have known better).

3. Bought the 10 dollar 20" light weight/no safety crap/ easy to push one is for getting between trees and around flower gardens and stuff the rider won't fit through.

4. The 36" - 13 hp self propelled mower / brush cutter belonged to my son who passed away.

5. The 42" John Deere rider I bought because in my old age I got lazy.

I hope that answers your question. Some day I will tell you why I have 3 chain saws.

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
Even the smaller John Deere riders are cheaply built now days. The ones Home Depot sales are really cheaply built (or so my local JD dealer salesman says) (I'm not sure if he was BS'ing or not).
No he's right. They build cheaper stuff for the box stores.
