Things We Should Not Be Doing

There will always be a few who will work every hour they can get but are decidedly less of them around then there was back then. Ground will get all they can handle sure but there is no way they can gear up to that kind of avalanche. They will rent trucks and try to speed train some temps and they will make a bundle but it won't be enough.
Mountains of freight will be sitting on docks all dressed up with no where to go. Just like the last strike.

Mountains of freight sitting?

Sounds like this past peak, never mind a brownout!!

Speaking of the grave, how much would it cost to have a Fred impersonator play the Grim Reaper at my viewing?

We're not going on strike. A strike in this economy would be public relations suicide.

It depends on what you are offered, no? And, no body else can handle all your business, nor do they want to, from what I've heard. You're in a stronger position than take it or leave it.

EVERY FEDEX DRIVER NEEDS TO HEED THIS WELL WRITTEN ADVICE! GROUND AND HOME ARE EQUALLY SCREWED! Get this for a crock of sh*&, contractors call your personal cell phone to ask you to be a team player and help out joe blow when you finish your route, BUT, they DO NOT PAY OVERTIME!!!! WTF???? Who in their right mind should be doing this for FREE?????? Tell your contractor it is his or her route and their responsibility and to do it themselves, YOU DON"T WORK FOR FREE! If they hassle you, tell them you will take them to labor relations! MrFedEx is 100% right. Just do the bare minimum and go home!

It would be a public relations suicide for the Company! Look at Verizon...they got those guys off the picket line because public opinion turned against the company! Same for ConEd...they locked the workers out and public sympathy went to the workers! It would be bad for UPS, not the drivers!
