The people signing up these accounts probably never stepped inside a package car or had to deliver pottery barn boxes or 40 cases of paper up 2 flights of stairs. When questioned about thier reasoning I'm sure they would say were getting our foot in the door so we may someday get all thier business! I say BS they're shipping smaller parcels via DHL, USPS and Fedex and the os3 with us because our competitors wont. Why because they know there isnt a profit in it while our UPS decision makers who don't leave the comfort of thier desk believe it looks like good idea on paper! HA! just a little poll how many bad drivers were promoted into supervision? or Sales Reps hired right out of college? I know in our center everyone of our supervisors couldnt make it as a driver and they carried that experience with them when making decisions that effect UPS. Sales reps we get a new one every couple of months and then we get the same song and dance pcm. I'm here to make a difference and they need us to turn in a new sales lead every week. I've turned in several sales leads only to have no one contact them and when I try to contact sales rep I get "oh she's no longer with UPS but we have someone coming in next week" and here we go again LMAO it's really hilarious
